The Member of Parliament for Navrongo Central, Simon Aworigo, has announced full financial support for branch executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the party’s upcoming reorganisation exercise.
In a press statement dated May 1, 2026, the MP disclosed that he has covered both nomination form fees and annual membership dues for all branch executives within the constituency. The initiative follows the release of guidelines by the party’s Functional Executive Committee (FEC) for the internal restructuring process.
According to him, the intervention is intended to ease the financial burden on grassroots leaders and promote an inclusive reorganisation. Each executive will benefit from payment of GH¢20 for nomination forms and GH¢24 for one-year membership dues.
Mr. Aworigo emphasised that the gesture reflects his appreciation for the dedication and hard work of party executives over the years, describing them as the backbone of the party’s success in Navrongo Central.
He further encouraged all eligible beneficiaries to liaise with constituency executives through their respective zonal and electoral area coordinators to access the support.
The move is expected to boost morale among party faithful and strengthen grassroots participation as the NDC prepares for its internal elections.
