Youth Arise Organization (YAO) has successfully trained 81 Senior High School (SHS) graduates in leadership and life skills during the Tema edition of this year's Stepping Ahead Leadership Conference (SALC).

The event was held at the Cocobod Training School in Tema from October 4 to 5, as part of YAO’s mission to equip young people with essential leadership skills to help them live meaningful lives and make meaningful contributions in their communities.

The Tema Edition of the conference marks the fourth in a series of workshops, following sessions in Kasoa, Tarkwa, and Koforidua. The workshop will continue in seven more locations across Ghana, and it also extends to countries like Benin, Togo, and Nigeria.

The annual SALC initiative provides SHS graduates with the opportunity to develop practical skills that go beyond formal education, preparing them to take on leadership roles in their communities.

Some sessions treated at the workshop included leadership, Mentorship, CV writing, Making the most out of University, personal development and Career guidance.
