Veteran broadcaster Godwin Avenorgbor has passed away.
He died on Monday, August 19, 2024, though the cause of death has not been disclosed.
Before his passing, the “Grandmaster,” as he was fondly called, served as the Director of Communication for the Melcom Group of Companies.
In a brief statement shared on the Facebook page of Ghana Television, where Mr. Avenorgbor had a distinguished career, it was announced, “The 'Grandmaster' (Godwin Avenorgbor) bows out. May his gentle soul rest in peace.”
