Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe has said it is not politically or economically prudent for Vice President Bawumia to keep blaming the opposition NDC six years in government.
According to him, a playback of the Vice Presidents' tapes then in opposition would expose him.
In a tweet on July 14, he stated, “My dear Veep, please leave the NDC out of the major reasons for the return to the IMF. It is politically and economically not prudent. A playback of your own tapes while in opposition will help reset this loud misconception.”
He however agrees with Dr. Bawumia's statement that tougher times are ahead.
On this, he urged Vice President Bawumia to focus on getting the country out of the situation it’s found itself in as quickly as possible.
"There is truth in the Veep's assertion that we will face greater economic difficulties before things will normalise. He should focus on getting us quickly out of the deeper hole we find ourselves than we were in 2015," he stated.
