Be wary of the sons of Jacob

I. DAUGHTER OF ZION, be careful and selective about the people you share your dreams with. Beloved, don’t share your dreams prematurely. It’s not everyone who should know about your dreams before their maturity. Let people see the manifestation of the dreams instead of you telling them during the incubation period. And don't tell the sons of Jacob about your dreams. The sons of Jacob are around us, so be careful what you tell them. Joseph had dreams that foretold his future greatness, but he shared them with his brothers, who were already jealous of the favour he received from their father, Jacob. Already your colleagues at your workplace hate you for your hard work; some people at your church may not like you, some in your family dislike you, and others around also hate you. So don’t continue sharing your dreams and success stories.

II. MY BELOVED SISTERS, premature sharing can lead to pain and attempts to distract you. Joseph's openness about his dreams fuelled his brothers' resentment. Remember that not everyone is ready or worthy of hearing your visions. , for they are working against your interest for the sake of your dreams and ambitions. Your business and professional skills have provoked the sons of Jacob. And when Joseph's brethren saw that their father loved him more... they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him. The sons of Jacob have risen against you; be watchful in your undertakings. The hostile posture of your colleagues towards your dreams has its spiritual connotation; be careful.

III. SON OF MAN, the Bible tells us that Joseph dreamt a dream, AND HE TOLD HIS BRETHREN, and they hated him even the more. Joseph did not tell outsiders about his dreams but his own brothers, who hated him the more. Don’t conclude that everyone laughing with you wishes you well. Yes, you are in the same church; you are all pastors; you are all departmental leaders and Sunday school teachers, but not all love you or want you to succeed in your ministry. Who are you sharing the good news with? Who are you sharing your challenges with? Beware of the existence of the sons of Jacob at your office, family, community and church. They will hate you because of your accomplishments, and due to the breakthroughs, they will plot against you. The sons of Jacob exhibit jealousy, hatred, dream-killing, and evil schemes and will stop at nothing until they have achieved their diabolical plans. Stop sharing your dreams all around.

IV. MY DEAR BROTHERS, Joseph's brethren envied him, but his father observed the saying. They were jealous of Joseph. The sons of Jacob conspire from afar, so be careful. And when the sons of Jacob saw Joseph afar off, even before he came near unto them, THEY CONSPIRED AGAINST HIM TO SLAY HIM. The sons of Jacob are conspirators. They will plot to kill you and your dreams. They said, 'Come now, therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say some evil beast hath devoured him, and we shall see what will become of his dreams.' And Reuben heard it, and he delivered him out of their hands and said, 'LET US NOT KILL HIM.' Beloved, let us pray for our Reubens within our family, our workplace, and our communities to rise up to our defence. Pray that God will empower a Reuben in that management, that government and that hospital to speak well of you. A Reuben will rise up in your favour. Be sensitive in your pronouncements, therefore, for not all love what you say. Before sharing, ask, "Is this the right time? Is he or she the right person? Ask God to guide you on what and when to share. Ensure relationships are strong before sharing sensitive information. Recognise God's hand in your visions and plans. )? This is a DIVINE NEW DAY PROPHETIC WORD of encouragement sent forth through the authority and power of Christ Jesus and delivered to the brethren through God's Vessel, Francis Ameyibor. Yes Like Joseph, we all have dreams and visions. Let's be wise in how we share them, trusting God to guide us and unfold our destinies in His perfect time.

V. 2026 IS OUR YEAR AND SEASON TO BE LIFTED UP — Vengeance is of the Lord, and my God will repay the sons of Jacob on my behalf.

PRAYER: Gracious Lord, deliver us from any plot of the sons of Jacob. Let their schemes come to nothing. Disarm them for our sake and empower us to move on courageously through Christ. Jesus’ name, Amen.
