Leader and Founder of the United Party, Alan Kyerematen, has extended his support and best wishes to Ghana's Black Stars as they continue their campaign in the ongoing FIFA World Cup tournament.
In a statement, Mr. Kyerematen emphasized that the strength of every nation is rooted in the unity of its people, adding that such unity is often fostered through the activities and achievements of national institutions and organisations.
He observed that football has consistently served as a unifying force in Ghana, bringing citizens together regardless of their backgrounds. It is for this reason, he said, that he and the United Party are fully behind the Black Stars and wish them success throughout the tournament.
Mr. Kyerematen expressed confidence in the team's ability to excel on the world stage, stating that the players possess the talent and determination needed to make the nation proud and potentially bring home the coveted trophy.
The Black Stars are expected to begin their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign tonight with a Group L encounter against Panama.
As anticipation builds ahead of the match, Ghanaians from all walks of life continue to rally behind the national team, with messages of encouragement and support pouring in across various platforms in the hope of a successful tournament for the Black Stars.
