Keche Joshua blasts Otto Addo, says former Black Stars coach failed Ghanaians

Ghanaian musician, popularly known as Keche Joshua of the music duo, has strongly criticized former Black Stars coach, accusing him of failing Ghanaians during his time in charge of the national team.

In a video shared on his social media page, the musician expressed disappointment in the former coach's tactical approach and management of the team. According to Keche Joshua, he previously believed that Ghana's players lacked the quality required to compete at the highest level, particularly on the world stage.

However, his perception changed after watching Ghana's World Cup clash against England, which ended in a goalless draw. He said the performance convinced him that the players possess the talent and ability to compete against top football nations when properly guided.

Keche Joshua argued that the main problem was not the players but rather the coaching. He claimed that Otto Addo failed to get the best out of the squad and lacked the tactical expertise needed to help the team play attractive and effective football.

"Watching the game changed my mind completely. The players are good enough, but they need proper direction and tactics. Otto Addo did not know how to coach the players to play the kind of football Ghanaians wanted to see," he stated in the video.

Otto Addo's tenure as Black Stars coach was often met with mixed reactions from supporters, with debates surrounding his tactics, team selections, and overall performance continuing long after his departure.
