Ghanaian comic actor and YouTube content creator Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi, popularly known as Dr. Likee or Akabenezer, is considering leaving the movie scene.
The famed actor has disclosed that he will officially quit acting in two weeks' time to focus on himself because he is currently facing problems.
According to Dr. Likee, the problems are from the young actors he has been working with, who he says are not heeding his advice.
The comic actor stressed in an interview with Poleeno Multimedia following his arrival from a recent United Kingdom trip that his guys become arrogant as soon as they shot to fame under his watch.
“I will quit acting in two weeks. I am facing many problems. My children do not listen to any advice. They become arrogant after becoming famous.
"My guys become arrogant as soon as they shot to fame under my watch. I have to think about myself right now. I have not uploaded content on my personal channel for over a year. I work for other people, and many get angry when they see me working with their colleagues,” he said.
According to him, the only reason he hasn't stopped the job long ago is for the sake of his guys Aboske and Kompany who are breadwinners of their families.
Under his guidance, several young actors and actresses such as Kyekyeku, 39/40, Aboske, and Awurama have gained prominence in the movie scene.
