Respect yourself; Nana Ama McBrown is not your mate — Ayisha Modi slams Shatta Wale for insulting TV host

Ayisha Modi, a Ghanaian socialite has chided dancehall singer Shatta Wale for insulting Nana Ama McBrown, the host of Accra-based UTV’s United Showbiz.

Shatta Wale, in his recent jab at industry players, directed a hot one at the actress and television personality over what he deemed unprofessional conduct on her show.

In a viral video, the controversial artist described the seasoned entertainer and her show as stupid, unprofessional and nonsense.

“Nana Ama McBrown is an actress, Nana Ama McBrown doesn’t know anything about presenting. Sometimes she can present and someone can counter her.

“Let us be real in this life, it’s stupid. You, people, are villagers. Stupid people. You are worrying Ghanaians, you are worrying Ghanaians. It’s nonsense. That’s why you all can’t stop me. That’s what you all deserve. Stupid!” he ranted.

This, according to the die-hard fan of Stonebwoy, depicts Shatta Wale as mentally ill for having disrespected Nana Ama McBrown.

Ayisha Modi apologised to the actress and called out the Gringo crooner to do the same since Nana Ama McBrown is not his mate in the entertainment industry.

“We sincerely apologize to the general public for this very act of nuisance. The person who did this video is one of our ……..patients who escaped last night. We urge the public to go about your various business as everything is under control.

“Thanks for your understanding…God bless you & pray for Shatta Walle @iamamamcbrown is not your Mate in this industry. Kindly respect yourself!!!

“Thank you. AMA is a legend and has to be respected in this so-called media space. You can argue with ur phones. You are a musician not a politician.
