Ghana winger Andre Ayew has agreed personal terms with English side West Ham paving the way for him to complete his switch from Swansea City, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The negotiations with the Ghana international involved his father and agent Abedi Pele, who is an accomplished former footballer.
The 26-year-old is said to have agreed a four-year deal with the Hammers with a massive hike on the salary he received at the Swans.
Sources close to the deal say the two clubs have also agreed a £20m fee for Ayew with the medical set to be completed in the coming hours.
This means the deal could be sealed latest by Tuesday with Monday being the most likely day for the deal to be signed.
Ayew, who was born in France but plays for Ghana, joined Swansea on a free transfer from Marseille last summer.
The Black Stars' deputy captain's arrival will hugely boost the attacking force for West Ham who currently rely on striker Andy Carroll to lead the attack.
West Ham coach Slaven Bilic is boosting his squad as they will compete in the Europa League and Premier League.
