Pescara midfielder Ransford Selasi has revealed that he will not switch nationality to Italy even if approached.
Selasi, 19, guided Biancazzurri to the Serie A on their second attempt and has indicated his strong desire to don the national colours of his country of birth.
According to him, it is always a source of pride to play for the national team and he will not follow the footsteps of Balotelli even if the opportunity avails itself.
In an exclusive interview with GHANAsoccernet.com, Selasi said 'Honestly I have never thought of that. But when the opportunity comes, I'll still want to play for my country.'
The Ghana youth star played 20 matches for Pescara in the quest to secure promotion to the Serie A and is a favourite of his team mates.
