Maputo, Mozambique, Sept. 12, GNA - Ajara Mohammed became the first Ghanaian athlete to grab a gold medal at the 10th All Africa Games in Maputo, Mozambique.
Mohammed won the female 1500 meters race in the paralympic sport to maintain her solid record as the 'Queen of Disabled Athletics' after achieving the same feat in Algeria four years ago.
Her compatriot Anita Fordjour also won a bronze medal in the same race to increase Ghana's medal build up to five.
