Adriano Galliani, the vice-president of European champions AC Milan has said Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o is top of the Italian club's shopping list.
Three times African Footballer of the Year, Eto'o, said recently he is keen to stay with Spanish side Barcelona.
However, Galliani said: "We intend to ask Barcelona at the end of the Spanish season if they would sell Eto'o."
Eto'o has scored 11 goals so far for the Catalan side despite being injured for much of the season.
Eto'o joined Barcelona from Real Mallorca in 2004 and helped them win the Spanish League and European Champions League last year.
