
Ghana international, Thomas Partey was in action for Arsenal on Sunday afternoon when the team locked horns with Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League.
In a matchday 13 encounter of the league campaign, the Black Stars poster boy scored with a thunderbolt strike in the 57th minute.
The in-form midfielder received a pass from Reis Nelson on the edge of the Nottingham Forest box and had just one thing on his mind.
Thomas Partey picked his spot and expertly struck the ball with power as it flew into the back of the net to give Arsenal a 4-0 lead.
In a game where the experienced midfielder lasted 90 minutes, he finished with a high rating of 8.0.
During the game, Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring for Arsenal just five minutes into the first half.
A brace from Reiss Nelson and a goal from Martin Odegaard in the second half sealed the thumping 5-0 victory for the home team against Nottingham Forest.
