"Ghana Post Company Limited has not collapsed, it is revamped but will need the support of government and the good people of Ghana to project and sustain this breath of revival", Mr. Jerome Quansah, Postal Officer of Sefwi Bekwai in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region has said.

Speaking in an interview with Lord FM's Kwame Kontor Boateng, the Postal Officer said Ghana Post, in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication, has introduced new and high level initiatives to improve postal services to customers at easy and affordable rates. This is to revive Ghana Post, especially in the area of technology and innovation.

Mr. Jerome Quansah further hinted that Ghana Post is revamping its services with heavy technology in networking of all major post offices for effective counter services, adding that, these new systems and services will make parcels services convenient and easy to access.

"Today, we are doing other financial services like Western Union, Cash Post, Ria, Money Transfers, and results checking," he stressed.

The officer added that university students can now pay fees through their improved system.

Mr. Jerome Quansah thanked President Akufo Addo government for honoring his promise to create Western North region which will help alot of people to access their services in the region.

He therefore appealed to the people of western north region to patronise Ghana Post, because they have what to give to the society.

"Students who perform better in their competition in letter writing, essay writing will be awarded," he assured.
