Bring Back Mahama Posters Pop-Up Ahead Of NDC Presidential Primaries

Posters with the inscription "Bring Back Mahama" have popped up on social media especially Facebook for about three days now.

A large section of sympathizers belonging to the National Democratic Congress are circulating the said posters on their Facebook walls, Instagram and Whatapp Platforms signifying their wish that the Ex-President His Excellency John Dramani Mahama contests for the pending National Democratic Congress presidential primaries.

There have been a general outcry by Ghanaians that the ruling New Patriotic Party led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo is mismanaging the state resources coupled with high profile corruption scandals which have obviously reduced the confidence people have in the government.

Not too long 94 NDC Members of Parliament out of 106 endorsed John Dramani Mahama to lead the party in the 2020 elections although the former President hasn’t formally thrown his hat into the race.

According to the leader of the 94 MPs, Edwin Nii Lantey Vandapuye, John Mahama is the only candidate who can lead the party to victory in the next polls.
