ESET, a leader in cyber-protection, is set to hold a conference on the economic importance of cyber security as part of its Security Days series.
The ESET Security Days is already well-known in North and Latin America as a gathering of independent and ESET security experts with IT professionals, business people and the general public.
More than five thousand people around world already attended and right now it is arriving in Ghana.
The conference is not limited to ESET research − independent and non-ESET affiliated IT security experts will be providing presentations and leading discussions on cyber-threats and data protection issues which affect the current business environment. Attendees will gain access to valuable know-how and technology support by our headline speakers.
‘ESET has focused on the Economic Importance of Cyber Security in Ghana businesses as the IT threat landscape has changed dramatically over the last few years in the region’ says ESET Country Manager, Olufemi Ake. In the past, the majority of attacks were meant simply to make headline news.
Today, attacks have become more sophisticated and stealthy, targeting specific organizations and individuals to reap financial or political gain. Professional hackers continuously develop new tactics to gain unauthorized, undetected, and ongoing access to an organization’s systems and information
ESET began life as a pioneer of antivirus protection and company’s goal is to make sure that everyone can enjoy opportunities that technology offers. Today, ESET security solutions allow businesses and consumers in more than 180 countries to make the most of the digital world. Aim of this project is to bring cutting-edge knowledge to everyone – especially the business user.
“At ESET Security Days participants can enjoy the latest news from our own ESET kitchen. You will not only hear about what we offer to safeguard your business but you will receive valuable technology and security awareness insights along the way,” says ESET CEO Richard on ESET Security Days series launching in yet another country.
“During the conference, attendees can look forward to detailed presentations and reports on cyber threat landscape that we are currently facing,” he adds.
The first event takes place in British Council, Accra, Ghana
Participants will have the opportunity to see and learn from Joe Jackson, Director – Business Operations at DALEX, Henry Nyako, MD Citsys Co. Ltd and Olufemi Ake, ESET Country Manager.
