Letter Exam Candidates Must Put A Stop To Cheating
OCT 31, 2013 LISTEN

Cheating in examination at all levels of the academic ladder has attracted much public debate, without any heckles in recent times. The essence of my article is to highlight the consequences of indulging in such shameful practices.

It is certain that in the absence of examinations, it would be tricky to determine which student should be promoted, on the academic ladder. Not surprisingly, examinations have become the established mode of testing the academic brilliance of students. Most students approach examinations with such seriousness that they might not have exhibited all through the period preceeding the examination.

Unfortunately, instead of student studying hard, some resort to cheating, during the examination. The cheating occurs in various forms, which in irrespective of the form is unacceptable. The following accounts, why students must avoid cheating in examination.

Firstly, cheating in examination amounts to dishonesty and deviancy, both of which the society condemn. A candidate who cheats in examination is dishonest and a deviant person, who cannot fit into the society.

Secondly, once you succumb to the temptation of cheating in an examination, the candidate would find it difficult to put a stop to such wrong practice Hence, likely to be caught in future examination malpractices, leading to disgrace and humiliation.

Thirdly, it can lead to cancellation of exam papers, exhorbitant fines and immurement. This would go a long way to vilify the candidate's future records.

As a matter of fact, as smart as a candidate is, should not be stand stone for him/her to cheat, since it would affect the future.

THANK YOU.
