Will Eazzy be there for Ghana? Today is take off time for the Big Brother Stargame on AfricaMagic Entertainment on DStv. It is season seven.
With an attention grabbing ‘winner takes all’ grand prize of USD 300 000 at stake, plus the new doubling up of contestants entering the series with partners, Big Brother Stargame is set to provide more of the entertainment, romance, action, suspense and drama that the series is famous for.
This season’s show will feature two housemates each representing Angola, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The names of the two people to represent Ghana are unknown but throughout this week, there has been speculation in the media that lady rap musician, Mildred Ashong aka Eazzy, and her boyfriend Keitta Ossei would represent Ghana at the pan-continental reality show.
Officials at Multichoice Ghana have refused to either confirm or deny the story. This is because the producers love to keep and guard jealously the names of those who would appear on the show until the launch day when it is revealed to the whole world.
Last Thursday, however, Big Brother released the names of seven celebrity housemates who will also be part of the seventh season of Africa’s biggest reality TV show. The list included P.Y. Addo, co-presenter of The One Show on Viasat1.
Commenting on the series, M-Net Africa MD Biola Alabi is pleased with the response it is getting. “It’s super to see the high level of interaction STARGAME is getting from fans, media and viewers. The guessing around who the housemates will be; people trying to work out what Biggie is planning; the rumors and the speculation; it all adds to the excitement”.
Big Brother Stargame is headline sponsored by Coca-Cola and produced for M-Net’s AfricaMagic by Endemol South Africa.
