The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that nominations for its upcoming constituency elections will open on Monday, June 22, and close on Wednesday, June 24.
The party has also activated an online payment portal to enable prospective aspirants and interested members to make advance payments for nomination forms ahead of the opening of nominations.
According to the party, applicants who successfully complete the payment process will receive an electronic receipt, which must be presented to obtain copies of the nomination forms when nominations officially begin.
"This is to inform all prospective aspirants and interested party members that the Party has activated its online payment portal to facilitate advance payment for nomination forms in respect of the forthcoming Constituency Elections," a statement signed by General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, read in part.
The statement advised aspiring candidates to make payments through the party's online portal and retain their electronic receipts as proof of payment.
The NPP noted that the move is aimed at streamlining the nomination process and ensuring a smooth rollout of activities leading to the constituency elections.
Individuals seeking to contest in the elections are expected to complete the payment process before obtaining their nomination forms.
"Please note that the nomination period shall commence on Monday, June 22, 2026, and close on Wednesday, June 24, 2026," the statement added.
