Kumasi, Feb 9, GNA – The Ashanti Regional Students' Representative Council (ARSRC) has presented assorted items and cash totaling about GH¢ 2,000 to the Kumasi Children's Home.
These included rice, edible oil, cream milk, milo beverage drinks, used clothing and confectionaries.
Barima Osei Freduah Antoh, the President, said this formed part of their 15th annual week celebration and that they were happy to be part of the effort at helping to make life a bit comfortable for children in the orphanage.
He promised future visits to the home.
Madam Victoria Asugnya, Supervisor of the Home, said they were grateful to the students for the gesture and used the occasion to counsel them to be more serious with their studies and to avoid bad conduct.
