Shell Ghana over the weekend introduced another innovative product, the New Shell Super Extra, with Fuel Economy Formula onto the Ghanaian market. The new product, specifically developed for petrol engine vehicles, contains a unique formulation which ensures fuel economy.
This means that the new Shell Super Extra is designed to give Ghanaian motorists extra kilometers at no cost.
Speaking at the launch in Accra, the Managing Director of Shell Ghana, Omar Benson said 'Shell is committed to delivering better fuels around the world and Shell scientists have been working to develop fuels to address motorists'.
He added that research has shown that customers want fuels that will take them further without having to pay more, noting that 'The new Shell Super Extra has fuel efficiency which, when used in combination with our Shell Fuel Save tips, can help reduce our customers' visits to the pump'.
The new product contains a triple-action cleaning component which helps prevent the build-up of mileage robbing deposits and supports vehicles to perform more efficiently. It also helps to protect valuable engine parts and gives motorists more benefits than the regular petrol, according to the MD.
Launching the new product, the acting Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority, Alex Mould commended that Shell Ghana for the continuous introduction of innovative fuel products onto the Ghanaian market.
