Students of the Anlo Senior High School at Anloga last Saturday gave guests at the 52nd Speech and Prize-giving Day a lot to cheer about when they took the floor and danced gracefully.
It was the traditional Misego dance that received the loudest cheers and applause.
The occasion also marked the inauguration of an Information Communications and Technology (ICT) facility for students of the school.
The facility which was provided at the cost of GHC 45,000 was funded by the Ghana Investment for Electronic Communication (GIFEC) with support from the 1982 year-group of the school.
Inaugurating the facility, Dr Kwabena Adjei, Chairman of the board of the Ghana Educational Trust Fund (GETFUND) said government was committed to pursuing a policy of fairness and equity in the distribution of resources in the educational sector.
The Volta Regional Minister Mr Joseph Amenowode commended the school for its high academic and extra-curricular performance and charged staff and students to work hard to achieve more laurels for the school.
