A-48-year-old farmer, Afua Anane has been fined GH¢100 by the Nyinahin Magistrate Court for threatening to kill her fellow farmer, Madam Amma Ataa of Abofrem in the Atwima Mponua District.
The accused pleaded not guilty and would serve 12 months imprisonment if she failed to pay the fine.
Prosecuting Police Chief Inspector Napoleon Isaac Asherow told the court presided over by Mr Augustine Issah that, the complainant and the accused were having a land litigation case.
He said, on May 20, 2008, the accused met the complainant at the disputed land and threatened to kill her if she visited the land again.
The prosecutor added that when both returned from the bush, the accused in the presence of some people in the house again threatened to kill the complainant.
Chief Inspector Asherow said, a report was made to the police and the accused was arrested and after investigations, charged with the offence.
