A Cape Coast Circuit court presided over by Mr Beresford Acquah, on Wednesday fined Emmanuel Acquah a driver GH¢60 for over-speeding on the Cape Coast-Accra Highway.
Acquah who pleaded guilty, would serve a 21-day jail term in default.
had expressed concern over the spate of motor offences resulting in accidents on the roads, when Acquah was arraigned on Tuesday.
The prosecution's case was during the afternoon of Thursday, February 26, this year, a patrol team from Central Regional Motor Traffic and Transport Unit (MTTU) arrested Acquah who was over-speeding at Eyisam on the Cape Coast- Accra Highway and after investigations charged with the offence.
