HR Focus Africa has introduced a corporate wellness programme dubbed ‘Unwind’ to help organisations promote employee well-being, strengthen workplace relationships and prepare their teams for the new year.
The initiative is designed to give employees an opportunity to relax, reflect on their achievements and reconnect with colleagues after a demanding work year.
The programme will feature activities such as stress management sessions, health screening, team bonding exercises, massage services and goal-setting sessions to help employees prepare for 2027.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, November 3, HR Focus Africa noted that the experience will also include food, drinks and live music as part of efforts to create a relaxed environment for workers.
The stress management session will provide employees with practical ways to identify and manage workplace stress, while medical professionals will conduct blood pressure, body mass index (BMI) and eye checks.
Participants will also have access to a dietician for health and nutrition guidance.
The team bonding activities are expected to strengthen relationships among colleagues, improve communication and encourage collaboration.
A session dubbed ‘Mindset Shift for 2027’ will also help employees set positive goals and approach the new year with renewed enthusiasm.
HR Focus Africa said the programme was developed to help employers recognise the contribution of their workforce while making employee well-being part of their organisational priorities.
The company noted that investing in employee well-being could improve morale, productivity, teamwork and an organisation's reputation as an employer.
It added that the programme would be tailored to reflect the culture and objectives of participating organisations.
