Founder of Perez Chapel International, Charles Agyinasare, has opened up about his early life experiences, using his story as a lesson on personal choices, consequences, and transformation.
In an interview with Bola Ray, the preacher revealed that he was involved in relationships at a very young age, which led to a pregnancy during his teenage years. He explained that the situation resulted in an abortion, a decision he now reflects on as part of a difficult period in his life.
Agyinasare noted that his youth was marked by a lack of direction and involvement with multiple relationships—experiences he now shares as cautionary lessons, especially for young people navigating similar pressures.
He further recounted how a turning point came through an unexpected encounter with a young woman he was interested in. According to him, she introduced him to church after telling him that her “boyfriend was Jesus Christ,” a statement that sparked his curiosity.
Out of interest in her, he followed her to a church service—an experience he admitted he did not initially take seriously. He revealed that he attended the service under the influence of marijuana and sat at the back, waiting for it to end.
However, during the service, an altar call was made for individuals to commit their lives to Christ. That moment, he said, became a significant turning point, leading to a change in perspective and eventually shaping his spiritual journey.
