Charles Agyinasare, founder of Perez Chapel International, has urged Christians to actualise their faith in God by moving beyond hopes and assumptions.
He encouraged the thousands of highly expectant, miracle-seeking audience at Sunyani Jubilee Park, stating: “Your faith is your point of contact with God and must move beyond hoping, thinking and assumptions; instead, put it into action.”
Archbishop Agyinasare, also a televangelist, author, and President of the Agyinasare World Evangelism, gave the advice when he delivered a sermon at his evangelism crusade dubbed “The Sunyani Festival of Miracles.”
The Archbishop is expected to lead many to Christ and minister healing during the three-day interdenominational crusade, scheduled between Tuesday, March 18 and Friday, March 20, on the theme: “Christ is the Answer.”
Referencing the Gospel of Mark, chapter five, he urged the audience to draw inspiration from the story of the woman with the issue of blood.
He said trust in God could only yield results when Christians put their faith into action.
He further admonished them to repent from all “known and unknown” sins to receive God's favour and benefit from divine healing, wealth, and prosperity within God's kingdom.
Archbishop Agyinasare also advised Christians to amend their ungodly ways, reflect, and allow biblical teachings and doctrines to guide their lives, encouraging them to speak positively and resist societal pressures that could compromise their faith.
As part of the crusade, the archbishop is also holding special conferences for ministers of the gospel, pastors and church workers.
