A new governing board for Produce Buying Company (PBC) Limited has been sworn in to restore the company's integrity and viability.
The Minister for Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson. inaugurated the board on Tuesday in Accra,
He stated that the newly appointed governing board bears a heavy responsibility and must succeed, as the future of PBC and the well-being of numerous cocoa farmers depend on their actions.
The chairman of the board, Mr. Nana Meisu, expressed appreciation to the government for the trust reposed in them.
He also assured the Minister that the Board would work diligently to steer PBC back to stability and growth.
Other members of the Board include: Mr. Seidu Yonye (Managing Director), Mr. Imoro Sulemana, Ms. Pauline Adobea Dadzawa, Mr. Emmanuel Fuachie, Mr. Kwamina Amosa Coleman-Paittoo, Mr. Dominic Azimbe Azumah, Dr. Peter Afari, Nana Samuel Yaw Akuoko, Mr. Sampson Ashong, and Mr. Collins Suntaa Kabuga.
