Former Deputy Minister of Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has opined that it will be dangerous if Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia becomes Ghana’s President at the end of the 2024 General Elections.
In a post on X on Monday, February 5, the member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) argued that the Vice President has failed catastrophically as head of the country’s Economic Management Team.
Because of this, he insists, Ghanaians must not vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in this year’s general elections.
"The most senseless of all the Bawumia excuses is that he hasn't been President. We have seen him fail catastrophically at the management of the economy as Head of the EMT. Because are mad, we should reward him with the leadership of the entire country,” Felix Kwakye Ofosu said.
In another post, Felix Kwakye Ofosu described Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as a hapless talkative, insisting that his “nonsensical propaganda and slogans have made him the butt of all jokes after delivering the worst possible economic outcomes.”
Ahead of the 2024 General Elections, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia faces competition from John Dramani Mahama.
The former President is looking for the chance to lead the country after twice losing to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the last two presidential elections.
