The Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has expressed appreciation to Mawums Construction Company Limited for coming on board to help fix some roads in his Constituency destroyed by floods.
Following the spillage of the Akosombo dam by the Volta River Authority, many communities in the Volta, Eastern, and Greater Accra Regions have been flooded.

In a post on Facebook, North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa expressed profound appreciation to Mawums Construction Company Limited for coming to the aid of the affected flood victims.
“We are ever indebted to the CEO, management, and construction workers of Mawums. In this together, rising together,” the MP said.
