Celebrated Ghanaian producer, musician, and creative director James Mireku has announced the release of Elder Mireku Classics Vol. 2, set for July 15, 2026 — a date that also marks his birthday, making the project both a musical milestone and a deeply personal celebration. Serving as executive producer, James oversees a body of work that pays homage to one of Ghana’s most enduring gospel legacies.
The biological son of legendary gospel icon Elder Emmanuel Kwesi Mireku, James continues to honour his father’s spiritual and musical heritage through a project that reimagines some of Ghana’s most cherished gospel classics. Following the success of the first volume, Vol. 2 aims to preserve, celebrate, and reintroduce Elder Mireku’s timeless ministry to a new generation.
The highly anticipated album features a stellar lineup of gospel greats, including Lordina The Soprano, Soul Winners Inc., Francis Adjei, Nana Asaase, and several other distinguished ministers.
