Ghanaian rapper, Joey B, has revealed that an undisclosed incident involving fellow rapper D-Black caused him to lose some respect for him, despite still having love and admiration for the musician.
Speaking in an interview on 3Music, Joey B disclosed that the issue was music-related but declined to reveal exactly what transpired between them.
“D-Black did something recently that made me lose some respect for him. I can't even say it, but I still love him. Our relationship now is more like just cordial. When we see each other, we just exchange pleasantries,” he said.
The revelation has sparked curiosity among fans, especially considering the close relationship the two musicians once shared within Ghana's music industry.
Although Joey B chose not to go into details, he suggested that D-Black is fully aware of the incident and the impact it had on their relationship.
“I know he definitely knows why, but it's all good. Something happened between both of us and it's music-related. I respect him regardless and I've also understood what forgiveness is, so I've moved past that,” he stated.
Despite expressing disappointment, Joey B stressed that he has forgiven D-Black and has no intention of holding on to bitterness.
However, he maintained that people should be accountable for actions that hurt others.
