Highlife musician Adane Best has dismissed widespread rumours suggesting he is seriously ill and seeking financial assistance, describing the claims as completely false.
Speaking to the media, the veteran singer said he was shocked by the reports and urged the public to stop spreading misinformation.
“It is not true,” he stated firmly, adding that some individuals may be exploiting his name for personal gain.
Adane Best revealed that the matter has already been reported to the police.
“The police are actively investigating but haven't yet made any arrests,” he disclosed.
He explained that he quickly took to his social media platforms to debunk the rumours as soon as they came to his attention.
