Nigerian singer and songwriter, Stanley Omah Didiah, known well as Omah Lay, says he intends to remain single for the foreseeable future in order to concentrate fully on building his music career.
In a recent interview with UK radio station The Beat FM, the 22-year-old singer opened up about his relationship status when asked by the host if he was currently dating.
The "Godly" hitmaker explained that devoting time to romantic relationships could risk being a distraction from his goals at this pivotal stage in his career.
"No, I have been single forever. And I like it. I enjoy it. And I want to stay that way for God knows how long," Omah Lay responded.
The singer warned that female fans who make advances at him may not translate into dates anytime soon.
He gained widespread recognition in early 2020 after his self-produced single, "Bad Influence", went viral on social media.
