The family of late Highlife musician, Nana Nsiah Piesie has opened up on the cause of his untimely demise.
According to the family, the deceased, aged 57, passed away following a ghastly accident on the Pokuase road on Monday, April 4 2022.
His younger brother, Kaakyire Badu disclosed that the musician had arrived in Ghana from America 10 days before the incident.
“I am a fashion designer so I was home on Monday when he called me to bring some things I had sewed for him and gave me extra money to buy more fabrics to sew for him.
"But after about 30 minutes, I was home when I received a call that he had been involved in an accident at Adjei junction and I had to rush to the scene,” he told Accra based radio station Peace FM.
Kaakyire Badu added that the musician was sent to three hospitals but wasn’t granted medical attention because there were no beds.
He said they were later referred to Ridge Hospital but the musician passed on shortly after he had requested water to drink.
