An unconfirmed number of people sustained injuries following a road accident on the Nima section of the Ring Road Central on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash, which involved a truck and about three other vehicles, caused a temporary disruption to traffic along the busy stretch.
Police from the Nima Division responded to the scene and arrested the driver of the truck to assist with investigations into the cause of the accident.
The damaged vehicles, which had blocked portions of the road, were later cleared by the police to restore the smooth flow of traffic.
Authorities are yet to confirm the number of casualties or provide details on the condition of those injured.
