An event aimed at raising funds to support aged highlife musicians is set to take off on Friday, September 24 at Bayview Village in Accra.
It is also the dream of organisers that through the event highlife which is Ghana's own, would be promoted and reignited globally.
Patrons will enjoy songs from the classic collections of legendary Alfred Benjamin Crentsil, together with Akwaboah Snr on the day.
The excitement would be topped by the amazing display of highlife dynamo Kaakyire Kwame Appiah.
The fun would be taken to another level with the presence of Samuel Owusu and Teacher Africana on the stage.
There would be other supporting musicians on the night, to set the tone for the monthly highlife programme.
Hilife Keteke is a musical event designed to raise funds for aged musicians and also to promote Ghanaian highlife music globally.
The event would be held monthly at Bayview Village Event Centre located at Atomic junction and would be moved to other regions in the near future.
