Though it is no longer news that Nigeria's representatives in the Downville house of the Big Brother Africa StarGame, Season 7, Ola and Chris have been evicted from the reality show because of illness, the nature of the illness is what has caught people's attention.

Ola, who requested to leave the house on health grounds, told some journalists Wednesday, May 23, that he left the Big Brother House due to high blood pressure (BP).

He said he chose to leave the house because he felt 'health was wealth.'

Asked if he had any history of hypertension, Ola told journalists that he was never hypertensive.

Quizzed what could have triggered the rise in his blood pressure; Ola said it could be due to activities he had to go through in the house.

Representative of MNET, the organisers of the show, Femi Fayose, also told journalists that housemates were medically checked before getting into the Big Brother House.

He said health complications sometimes just arose due to some activities, which could have been the case for Ola.

According to Ola's partner in the house, Chris, it was easy for him to agree with Ola to leave the house on health grounds.

Chris said, 'US $300,000 is no match to my friend's (Ola) life. I don't feel like he killed my chances of winning the competition. It is what destiny has for us.”

Both Ola and Chris said they would venture into the entertainment industry. They said the exposure and fan base they had gotten from the show would be judiciously used.

Goldie is the only Nigerian representative left in the house. She is in the Upville house, which houses celebrities from selected countries.

Is DKB Getting a Big Head?
During Nominations on Monday, Mampi put DKB http://bigbrotherafrica.dstv.com/Profile/1661/Mampi.html on the chopping block, complaining that he had grown a big head and a massive ego since he became Head of House. http://bigbrotherafrica.dstv.com/Profile/1711/DKB.html

One Thursday morning, DKB, Goldie, Prezzo and Roki http://bigbrotherafrica.dstv.com/Profile/1701/Prezzo.html gathered in the kitchen for a little conversation while their fellow Housemates slept. DKB expressed how unhappy he was when Big Brother chastised him for telling his clique who he nominated.

It would seem DKB told Roki, Prezzo and Goldie http://bigbrotherafrica.dstv.com/Profile/1651/Roki.html earlier in the day that he saved himself and put Lady May http://bigbrotherafrica.dstv.com/Profile/1681/Goldie.html up for possible eviction, thus contravening Big Brother's nomination rules. DKB seemed flabbergasted that Big Brother had the audacity to tackle him on this issue. http://bigbrotherafrica.dstv.com/Profile/1691/Lady%20May.html

DKB might be forgetting that this is Big Brother's House and not his. It will be interesting to see how he copes next week considering that on Monday, Upville will have a new Head of House.
