Ghana Premier League giants, Obuasi Ashanti Gold SC has confirmed that they have secured a new sponsorship deal with Yabert Company to make Jungle Energy drink their official beverage partners.
The one year deal which could be extended to two years in 2020 will see the Miners receiving cash from Yabert Company as well as some other products.
The contract was finalized on Sunday, May 12, 2019, following Ashgold’s one nil victory over Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Match Week 11 of the Normalization Committee (NC) Special Competition.
According to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Ashgold, Mr. Frederick Acheampong, they are slated to have joined hands with Yabert Company who he believes are suitable partners for the club
“Jungle Energy Drink couldn't have found any suitable partner than Ashanti Gold, the most flamboyant football club in Ghana at the moment. It is one year renewable. It is two years actually but the discussions and decisions taking is for one year. Once it expires, the second year will.

Mr. Herbert Yeboah, CEO of Yabert Company on his part noted that they are delighted to complete the deal and looks forward to signing similar contracts with other Premier League clubs.
“We are starting with Ashanti Gold SC but that will not end there. In the coming weeks, we will move to clubs as well but we are very delighted with this deal and the warm receptions Ashanti Gold gave us. We are looking forward to do more”, he indicated.
