Accra, July 18, GNA - Salifu Mohammed on Monday afternoon recorded the Golden Rackets second victory in the Euro Africa Zone II Davis Cup tourney to send the final results to 3-2 in favour of the Georgians (Europeans).
The player fought from a set down to push aside Georgia's Ushangishvili Irakli with a 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 results in the final game of the three-day fiesta.
The outcome however meant nothing to Ghana's quest for survival in the zone as the Georgians had earlier on taken a 3-1 lead.
