Ghana Under-20 defender, Joseph Aidoo has been named the new captain of Inter Allies FC for the upcoming season.
Aidoo has been a constant member of the team and featured in over 25 matches for the Eleven Is To One last season attracting only two yellow cards in the process.
Joseph Aidoo after his appointment as the team's captain told the club's website - 'It's a huge step forward but it's a proud moment in my career and massive honour, I must say.'
'This team is blessed with many leaders and to lead these gallant leaders, it's like a dream for me. I hope I don't change much from the way I am as a player, but to improve more.'
Also, defensive partner Baba Mensah will also serve as the alternate captain.
Mensah, the former Under-20 star had a total 29 games from a possible 37 games in all competitions last season, attracting only 5 yellow cards and currently a member in the Ghana's Olympic team the Black Meteors.
