
Ghanaian Dutch born goal machine Raymond Gyasi has been promoted to AZ Alkmaar senior team following his exquisite exploits with the U 23 youth team.
The sprinter who can also play as a typical number 9 despite playing with the youth team made four senior team appearances in the 2013 league season after emerging top scorer for the youth team netting 18 times with 12 assist.
''I am so happy to be promoted to the senior team'' Gyasi told sportsworldghana.com in an exclusive interview after his promotion.
He added'' It is the ultimate dream of every professional player to play with a senior team side and I believe with my exploit from the youth side we are going to have a very great attacking force''.
The budding winger who earlier revealed his allegiance to play for his parents birth place Ghana age 20 is expected to impress AZ Alkmaar Manager, John van den Brom for frequent and enough playing time on the pitch.
Gyasi is very pacy, strong aerially expect, exhibit sensational footwork and also creates chances for strikers despite his youthful age.
He is born to Ghanaian parents Mr. Yaw Gyasi and Mrs. Gladys Opoku natives of Kumasi.
