New Edubiase United head coach EK Afranie claims he has proven a point by qualifying the team to the top flight to the Premier League next season.
Afranie's technical abilities were questioned after he failed to salvage the league campaign of Sporting Mirren in the just ended season.
He was in charge of the Black Starlets team which were eliminated in the qualifiiers of the African Under-17 Championship.
"I feel good. I have been vindicated because people thought that with the relegation of Mirren it was Afranie's problem," Afranie told Joy Sports." I went to meet them when they had played ten matches in the first round."
"It was not easy to bring them up but I take consolation in developing their game and you can see that people are interested in the players."
New Edubiase topped the Zone One table with 7 points, one point above chasers Ebusua Dwarfs.
The Football Association's Congress next month will ratify their promotion together with Great Olympics and Aduana Stars.
