West Bromwich Albion have accepted Hull City's bid for Ghanaian striker Brandon Thomas-Asante.
The agreement between Albion and the Tigers will see the 25-year-old sign a three-year contract at the MKM Stadium, with an option for a fourth year.
Thomas-Asante attended Hull City's penultimate pre-season friendly against Fiorentina on Tuesday night.
Reports suggest Hull City will pay around £2 million for the striker.
Thomas-Asante is set to join Walter's squad later this week and is expected to be available for the match against Reading at the SCL Stadium on Saturday, as City conclude their pre-season campaign.
The versatile striker, who can also play on the right wing, made 39 Championship appearances for Albion last season, scoring 11 goals and providing two assists.
His performances helped Carlos Corberan's team secure a playoff spot, though Southampton eventually defeated them, the ultimate Wembley winners.
Since joining from Salford City two years ago for approximately £300,000, Thomas-Asante has scored 18 goals in 72 appearances for West Brom. He has been the club's top scorer in each of his first two seasons at The Hawthorns.
