Gideon Mensah and Abdul Mumin impress in Vitoria de Guimaraes win over Maritimo

Ghanaian duo, Gideon Mensah and Abdul Mumin put up another magnificent performance over the weekend in Vitoria de Guimaraes.

Vitoria de Guimaraes hosted Maritimo at the Estádio D. Afonso Henriques on Sunday in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.

Óscar Estupiñán scored the only goal for the home side on the 48th minute.

Mensah and Mumin who has been a key figure for the side continued their impressive form for the club.

The win has sent Guimaraes to the 5th position with 29 points.

The pair will be hoping to continue their fine form when Guimaraes travel to play Benfica on Friday at the Estádio da Luz Stadium.

Mensah and Mumin will be hoping to get a Black Stars call up in March later this year for the final round of the 2022 African Cup of Nations [Afcon] qualifiers.
