Techiman Eleven Wonders on Sunday afternoon ended their 5-match winless run in the Ghana Premier League with a massive 3-1 win against Karela United.
The club despite starting the season on a bright note has since failed to live up to expectations. Prior to today’s fixture, the team had failed to record a win in their last five matches leaving fans worried.
Up against the impressive Karela United side, the odds did not favour Eleven Wonders prior to kick-off.
With a display of resilience throughout 90 minutes, however, the team has managed to bag maximum points on what goes down as a deserved win.
On the matchday, Tetteh Nortey scored in the 24th minute to give the home team the lead.
While that equalizer sent the team into the break in control of the match, Karela United returned from the break to score courtesy of a strike from star man Diawisie Taylor.
With all to play for in the final 20 minutes, Eleven Wonders upped their game and scored twice through Nana Kobina Osoh and George Osei Amponsah to cruise to a 3-1 win in the end.
