Oyinkansola, the daughter of late Yoruba actor Taiye Adeshina, widely recognised as Elegbeje Ado, has clamoured for assistance to give her father a proper send-off.
She made this known during a chat with actor Kunle Afod on Instagram, revealing that the burial had been delayed due to family logistics and financial constraints.
The funeral rites are set to take place on August 20 and 21, with a wake-keeping on Thursday and an artistes' night later that day.
During the interview, Kunle Afod questioned the prolonged discussions surrounding the burial and encouraged actors, fans, and loved ones to attend and pay their final respects.
He also presented N200,000 donated by Pastor Aikore of Cele Gospel as financial support for the burial arrangements.
Elegbeje Ado passed away on June 29, 2026, following a brief illness.
