Nollywood actress Scarlet Gomez has shared her thoughts on what it truly means to be a Christian, emphasizing that faith should be evident through character rather than mere words.
In a recent Instagram post, she argued that people should experience Christianity through others' actions rather than just hearing the label.
The actress noted that the greatest rule of faith is love, and when people truly love others, they naturally avoid actions that contradict that love. She expressed concern that many Christians do not reflect this principle in their lives.
She wrote:
"I feel like if we are Christian, u shldnt av 2 tell pple u're a Christian. Pple shld experience u & knw. Bcos saying ure a Christian bt nt reflecting Christ in ur character...I honestly dnt understand how dat wrks. It's not abt saying it, its abt believing it, living it & showing it. nd the greatest rule is LOVE. When u try love pple, thr r so mny thngs u simply won't do to them. Yet I see so many Christians doing dat. But hey, dat's just my opinion. S.G."
