Accra, Nov. 15, GNA - The Ghana Trades Union Congress on Tuesday announced the death of Mr Ambrose K. Yankey, former Secretary-General of the Congress.
A statement from the Public Affairs Department of the TUC said Mr Yankey died on November 2. It said funeral arrangements would be announced later.
Mr Yankey was one of 70 past leaders, who received awards for their meritorious service to the TUC in September 2005 as part of activities that marked the 60th anniversary celebrations of the organisation.
